The Committees

Education Committee: will plan with the area schools to present a variety of educational activities for school classes about Wisconsin veterans. Supervise the changing displays in the memorial, as well as arrange for special programs on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Veterans Day to be attended by the community. Members: Roland Perschon - Chairperson, Matt Fuchs – Co-chair, Dr. Melinda Skrade and Jean Miller Fundraising Committee: will be responsible for identifying potential donor, soliciting funds, and maintaining a central database of contact with donors. Also, the Fundraising Committee will be responsible for organizing and implementing the capital campaign and brick sales. Members: Lillian R. Boese - Chairperson, Greg Kolton, John Krejci, Roland Perschon, Dwyn Von Bereghy Finance Committee: will be responsible for the organization’s overall financial health. Creates budgets, oversees spending and manages the money matters of the organization. Members: Dan Hau – Chairperson, John Krejci – Co-chair and Greg Kolton Marketing Committee: will be responsible for creating marketing and communications materials such as brochures, web site, special promotions, public relations, etc. Members: Christine Schramek - Co-chair and Frank Wilke - Co-chair Construction/Design/Facilities Committee: will oversee and coordinate overall design of bell tower, including the integration of the bells and bell support system. Develop construction cost estimate. Coordinate bidding and construction phases. Develop a maintenance program and budget for both the bell tower and the surrounding grounds. Members: Bill Fuchs - Chairperson, Steve Peterman and Matt Fuchs Search Committee: will establish procedures to recruit potential board members, create expectations for board members, define term of positions, establish by-laws, and obtain all necessary information and commitments from board members. Members: Greg Kolton – Chairperson, John Krejci, as well as all Committee Members Coffee Center Committee: will staff, service and maintain the coffee center located in Foundations Bank & Executive Center. Members: Todd Williams - Chairperson , Dan Hau (Assist with Financial portion of the coffee center)
